02What we collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), the product you are interested in, and your message.

When you visit the site: our hosting provider processes standard request data such as your IP address and browser type to serve the page and protect it from abuse. Your IP address is also counted for a short time (about a minute) to limit repeated contact-form submissions.

If analytics are switched on, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that reports aggregate visit counts. It does not identify you and does not set cookies.

03Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo if you ask for one, and keep a record of our conversation.

To keep the site and the contact form secure and free of spam.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

04Who processes it for us

Website hosting and security: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers).

Email delivery for contact-form messages: Resend [PLACEHOLDER: confirm email provider].

These providers process data only to deliver their service to us.

05How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up [PLACEHOLDER: state a retention period, e.g. 24 months], then delete them.

06Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us contacting you, by emailing hello@sigmascopes.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
